Q. Does anyone know a way of getting your hair to stay really straight without flicks or without chemical straightening unless its good

A. Wash it then blow dry it straight clip half of your hair up and straight it bit by bit and brush it every time you straighten each bit. I sometimes open the window a bit to if you get hot so your hair done frizz when you finshed Spray some hairspray onto your brush and brush all your hair with it witch sets it a bit and last longer.

Tips on getting a straight cut on a table saw?
Q. I appear to be unable to get a straight cut on my table saw. I replaced the sawblade. It looks straight and screwed in tight. Does any one have any tips or know of a website that gives advice on how to get a straight cut on a table saw?

A. There are adjustments you can make to get the blade square with the table. Use a T square. If the blade is not in perfect alignment it can bind up and then to throw the wood back at you and smoke the wood too. After you check the blade alignment you need to do the same with the guide and make sure it's square. I have a sears table saw and when it was new the blade was way off line with the table. I used the instruction book. After I adjusted it the saw has been very nice. "Everything has to in lined up with the left or right grove you use to slide the guide in."

How many hours straight is it safe to swaddle a baby?
Q. We swaddle our baby in a Miracle Blanket overnight. The instructions say not to swaddle the baby for more than 8 hours straight. Why? Our baby would be comfortable sleeping overnight and for 12 hours straight swaddled, but wakes up when unswaddled. Is it safe to swaddle for more than 8 hours?

My son fell asleep in socks once, and I thought I could just let him sleep in them so his feet didn't get cold. They were brand new and not tight at all. I bought them just snug enough to stay up. His cousin is 3 and she still has scars from a pair of socks (they didn't tell me what had happened until I told them about what happened to me). Pressure points are very serious for a baby.

A. I have the same exact problem! my hair is like half wavy half straight and i hate it. i try to scrunch my hair with gel and it doesn't work either. You could try getting a WAVY perm. not a curly one, they have waby ones too, and they usually look really good and last a while (plus you can always straighten it if you get sick of it, and if you get a curly one it would be much harder.) that way, when you scrunch it, it will last longer and everything. another thing i do, is after i get out of the shower i french braid my hair in two side french braids. sleep with them in, and take them out in the morning and put moose, gel, hairspray, or whatever you want to keep the hold in. Q. I've been practicing because I want to straighten my hair nice for the 1st day of school which is not this Tuesday but next Tuesday. I've gotten to straighten it but I can't get the ends. A. Sometimes by straightning it the opposite way it naturally goes. Like my hair on one side naturally goes in so I'll straighten the ends out and the other side goes out so I'll straighten it in. Also by using smaller amounts of hair at a time works but remember if you're having trouble with a piece and you keep going over it be careful not to do it too many times or it will keep getting worse and smell bad. My mom's friend's daughter does my hair sometimes and whenever she does it looks like doll hair but when I try & do my own it's like when you shake a doll's head around for about 20 seconds and ruffle it up then you brush it but it wont go straight until you wash the doll's hair. How do I get my ends straight?

A. Sometimes by straightning it the opposite way it naturally goes. Like my hair on one side naturally goes in so I'll straighten the ends out and the other side goes out so I'll straighten it in. Also by using smaller amounts of hair at a time works but remember if you're having trouble with a piece and you keep going over it be careful not to do it too many times or it will keep getting worse and smell bad.
